Adam Small has been in the music industry for over 20 years, starting as a bassist working with the Pointer Sisters, Bernie Worrell of Parliament Funkadelic, Bernard Purdie, Jimmy Smith, David Hazeltine and many more. And in the realm of music licensing,as a composer, his TV works include The Amazing Race, True Life, Made, Road Rules, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and the films, Another Earth, and Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead among many others.
He also created my music master class which focuses on educating musicians not only on how to play their instruments but about the business side of music, but Adam has had many setbacks in his career and he’s kind enough to share his experiences with us by phone. In the background you’ll hear his beautiful one-year-old doing what a one-year-old does but don’t let that distract you from the great content we’re about to go into, and we both hope this inspires you to never give up.
